Art Album

Hi there, this is my art album. I've displayed here some of my best works, both digital and physical. Some pieces were painted with oils and acrylics, some drawn with charcoal and pen, and others were crafted using Photoshop. I'm proud of how they turned out!

So, take a look! Be sure to visit my other pages when you're done!

First slidePlaceholder"In a New Light"

Oils, still-life. I chose to paint in extreme contrasts of color to represent light and shadow.

First slidePlaceholder"Teacup and Candy"

Oil, still-life. The teacup wasn't the best, but the candy and folds of the fabric are well-done.

First slidePlaceholder"Bruised Kettle"

Oils, still-life. The streak of red and stratches intrigued me, and I tried to display the contrast of them against the reflective surface of the kettle.

First slidePlaceholder"The Bird"

Charcoal, picture. The bird, an omen of hope, or despair? Only he can know.

First slidePlaceholder"Vanitas"

Pen, still-life. An untraditional vanitas, using various objects that belong to me.

First slidePlaceholder"Under Pressure"

Pastels, picture. An abstract representation of a self-portrait, in which I have become distorted.

First slidePlaceholder"Boo!"

Photoshop, drawn. Some inspired Nintendo fan art.

First slidePlaceholder"Copper Colander"

Oils, still-life. I tried a new technique of using my palete knife to paint, allowing for more texture to come through.

First slidePlaceholder"Relics"

Oils, still-life. When my grandfather died, I took his old recipe box and filled it with trinkets he used to own. This piece is dedicated to him.

First slidePlaceholder"Nature Abound"

Photoshop, drawn. Orignally a logo design for a nature reserve, it features three examples of Idaho's wildlife.

First slidePlaceholder"Teeth"

Photoshop, drawn. Teeth!

First slidePlaceholder"Utopian City"

Photoshop, drawn. A utopian city imagined.

First slidePlaceholder"On The Edge"

Photoshop, drawn. A girl and her radio.

First slidePlaceholder"Cool Cat on 102.6"

Illustrator, drawn. He's hip with the kids, he's one cool cat.

First slidePlaceholder"Aftermath"

Photoshop, drawn. A post apocolyptic world, filled with the unsavory undead. What's not to like?

Game Art

This is my game-related art section. This is for art I've done for my GIMM games and digital projects. There are some animations and examples of 3D assets I've created using programs like Maya and Substance Painter and Designer.

Placeholder 'Skulled'

This is a video showcasing a 3D model of a skull and a monster hand I did in ZbrushMini.

Placeholder 'Some Light Exercises'

Here is a quick excerpt from a 2D animation I did in Toon Boom Harmony, featuring a man wielding a scythe.

Placeholder 'Happy Cat!' Models'

Here I will be showcasing the 3D models I personally made for 'Happy Cat!', which I did in Maya and textured using Substance Painter and Designer.

GIMM Studio Space: Concept art and Outfits

For a collaborative final project, some of my classmates and I worked on creating a virtual learning environment to be used for teaching purposes for future GIMM courses. I was put in charge of creating concept art for the character avatars that students will use when they enter the virtual space, as well as art for various outfits and cosmetics that they could equipt for their avatar. I also had the opportunity to model and texture a few of my designs!

'Cat Tail Animation'

This is a playblast animation of a 3D cat tail that I modeled and textured. I used Maya to model, rig, and animate the tail, and I used Photoshop for the texturing.

'Personal Hygiene' 2D Assets

Here are some 2D design assets for a project for personal hygiene, all done with Photoshop.

'Check That Stock!' Mockup

Here are some pictures of a mockup app I created using Adobe XD.

This is an app that people could use to see which stores have what items currently in stock. This would allow people to save time in running to the store without knowing what each store currently has for sale. The app will automatically take and calculate the values of each individual store's current inventory, using the technology that stores already implement. The app would sync up to the information, and give each employee of the store the ability to monitor and manually update each total. The user can choose which specific store they wish to look at using Google Maps, and upon selecting the pin icons will be brought to each store's specific stock page.
